2022 SUNDAY LEAGUE SPRING SEASON STANDINGS
The HBA is an adult amateur wood bat baseball league for all players ages 17+. We now offer year-round league play for Competitive, Intermediate and Recreation skill levels:
Competitive:
- Friday's (Fall)
- Saturday's (Spring & Fall)
- Sunday's (Spring)
Intermediate:
- Sunday's (Spring & Fall)
Recreation:
- Sunday's (Spring & Fall)
FRIDAY NIGHT FALL LEAGUE is for players ages 17+ who are seeking the most challenging level of baseball with games being played every Friday night.
- Fall Season: August-December
- 2022 Opening Night August 5th
- Players in the FNFL should have at least:
- Varsity level,
- College level, or
- Professional level playing experience.
- Games will be at 7:30pm
- This league will require a tryout.

SATURDAY LEAGUE is for all players 17+ years of age who are seeking a competitive level of play with games being played every Saturday (except holidays).
- Spring Season (Feb.-June)
- Opening Day February 19th
- Fall Season (Aug.-Dec.)
- Opening Day August 6th
- Players in the Saturday League should have at least:
- JV level, or
- Varsity level, or
- College level playing experience.
- This league will require a tryout.

SUNDAY LEAGUE is for players ages 17+ who are seeking the most challenging level of baseball with games being played every Sunday (except major holidays).
- Spring Season ONLY (February-June)
- Opening Day February 20th
- Players in the Sunday League should have at least:
- Varsity level, or
- College level or
- Professional playing experience.
- This league will require a tryout.

INTERMEDIATE LEAGUE is for all players 17+ years of age or older who are seeking an intermediate skill level of play. The Intermediate League currently plays its games on Sundays (except holidays).
- Spring Season: February - June
- Opening Day: TBD
- Fall Season: August - November
- Opening Day: August 7th
- Players in the Intermediate League should have at least:
- JV, or
- Varsity level playing experience
- This division requires attending tryouts.

RECREATION LEAGUE is for all players 17+ years of age or older who are seeking a recreation skill level of play. The Recreation League currently plays its games on Sundays (except holidays).
- Spring Season: February - June
- Fall Season: August - November
- Players in the Recreation League should have at least:
- Little League, or
- JV level playing experience
- This league will require attending tryouts, but everyone who attends tryouts will be placed on a team! We need enough players to attend tryouts, so we can scrimmage before players are drafted to teams.

Our goal is to offer the most organized, and competitive adult baseball league playing experience in Houston to our players.
- ALL players should have their own personal equipment:
- Wood Bat only
- Batting Helmet
- Fielding Glove/Catchers Mitt
- Catchers Gear (if applicable)
- Baseball pants (White or Grey)
- Cleats
All new Free Agents are encouraged to attend open tryouts. If no tryout dates are available, the league president will contact each free agent for either a private tryout, or a small group tryout with other free agents.
