Gale Throws Shutout as Aces Defeat Eagles

Sean Gale threw a shutout to lead Aces past Eagles 6-0 on Sunday.
Aces secured the victory thanks to five runs in the third inning. Aces offense in the inning was led by John Gredell, Alex Felipe, Bret Davies, Xavier Arredondo, and Michael McDonald, all driving in runs in the inning.
One bright spot for Eagles was a single by Anthony Onesty in the second inning.
Gale was the winning pitcher, surrendering zero runs on four hits over eight innings, striking out five and walking one.
Michael Dimitroff took the loss for Eagles. The pitcher lasted three innings, allowing four hits and five runs while striking out five and walking zero.
Jhosue Mendoza led Aces with two hits in four at bats. Aces stole four bases during the game as two players stole more than one. Mendoza led the way with two.
