Mike McDonald Powers Aces with 5 RBI Day

  • Michael McDonald showed timely hitting on Sunday, driving in five on two hits to lead Aces past Naturals 10-2 on Sunday. McDonald drove in runs on a grand slam in the third.
  • Aces got things moving in the first inning. Jhosue Mendoza's sac fly scored one run for Aces.
  • Aces notched four runs in the third inning coming off of a grand slam by McDonald.
  • Andrew Garcia-Rameau was the winning pitcher for Aces. The righty surrendered two runs on four hits over five innings, striking out five and walking zero. Jeff Davidoff threw three innings in relief out of the bullpen. Davidoff recorded the last nine outs to earn the save.
  • Chase Morris took the loss for Naturals surrendering eight runs on six hits over three innings, striking out three.
  • Aces smacked two home runs on the day. Jose Garcia had a homer in the fourth inning and McDonald went yard in the third inning.
  • Aces also racked up 11 hits in the game. McDonald, Davidoff, and Bret Davies all had multiple hits for Aces.
