Hawks were victorious over Yard Goats, 5-1
Hawks got things started in the second inning when Jonathan Osorio & Matt Garcia pulled off a double steal. Drew Figueroa scored the second run of the inning on a fielder's choice by Dallas Quick. Hawks scored 3 more runs throughout the game two of them coming in the 9th inning on a double by Angel Torres.
Andrew Medrano earned the win for Hawks. He surrendered one run on three hits over seven innings, striking out 12 and walking zero. Jonathan Osorio threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen, striking out 3, allowing no hits and walking one. Osorio recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Hawks.
Armando Sanchez led Hawks with two hits in two at bats.
